The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Uzbekistan Jahangir Alam.
During the talks, the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations, Nozim Khusanov, provided the guest with detailed information about the reforms aimed at ensuring the stable development of the labor market in Uzbekistan, the decisions of the country’s leadership that contribute to the achievement of this task, spoke about the employment programs developed in our republic during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also dwelled on various aspects of the formation of a system of safe, orderly and legal labor migration.
Jahangir Alam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Uzbekistan, having shown deep interest in the experience gained in Uzbekistan in regulating the labor market, in turn, noted that strengthening ties in the field of labor resources, in particular, contributes to expanding the entire range of areas of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in general.
It was noted that further bilateral contacts should be developed in order to form a solid legal basis for the exchange of qualified labor force in specialties in demand in both countries.
The parties agreed to carry out a useful exchange of views on issues of mutual interest on an ongoing basis.
