A resolution of the President “On additional measures to create a healthy competitive environment in the agricultural engineering industry” was adopted.
According to the resolution, domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery operating in the agricultural machinery industry:
– for a period until 1 January 2022, they are exempt from customs payments (except for VAT and customs duties) when importing spare parts and components that are not produced in Uzbekistan according to lists formed in accordance with the established procedure;
– may have a deferred VAT payment for a period of up to 270 days, starting from the day of placement in the customs regime “release for free circulation” (import) of goods when importing components, raw materials and materials for the production and service of agricultural machinery.
Also, according to the January, lists of spare parts and components to be imported, as well as adjustments to them, are formed by a privileged organization, in case of receiving a positive conclusion on them from the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Comprehensive Expertise of Projects and Import Contracts”, any importing organization receives the right to import goods, specified in the lists, in the prescribed manner.
