In January – November 2022, Uzbekistan exported 135.8 thousand tons of melons and watermelons to 16 countries for $33.2 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of melon and watermelon exports increased by 53.8 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period in 2021.
Countries to which Uzbekistan exported melons and watermelons for 11 months of 2022 are Kazakhstan (58.2 thousand tons), Russia (28.1 thousand tons), Kyrgyzstan (27.2 thousand tons), Tajikistan (14.5 thousand tons), Latvia (2.8 thousand tons), Belarus (2.4 thousand tons), Germany (868 tons), and Poland (684 tons).
