In 2022, 1,730.6 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables were exported from Uzbekistan to foreign countries for $1,134.3 million. This figure has increased to 18.5 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
In the export of fruit and vegetable products in value terms, the largest share falls on grapes (24.7 percent), mung bean (8.2 percent), peaches (6 percent), tomatoes (5.1 percent), persimmons (4.6 percent), onions (3.7 percent), cabbage (3.5 percent), watermelons and melons (3.3 percent).
The share of fruit and vegetable products in the total export amounted to 5.9 percent.
The main importers of Uzbekistan fruits and vegetables are Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Türkiye, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Iran, the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research.
