During his visit to Jakarta, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, reports a Dunyo IA correspondent.
“It is a pleasure to have a candid and comprehensive meeting with H.E. Sugiono, Foreign Minister of Indonesia, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – On behalf of Uzbekistan delegation, we express our gratitude to MFA of Indonesia for the warmest hospitality. Our agenda today was extensive, covered all the topics of cooperation, set new goals to achieve. The main target is to bring new impetus, make the ties stronger, and nations closer. There is a solid foundation connecting our countries and much bigger potential to fulfill. Economic diplomacy remains a top priority. At the end of the meeting we also signed the Agreement on visa exception for diplomatic and service passport holders”.
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan and Indonesia established diplomatic relations on June 23, 1992.
