According to the information service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, in accordance with the decision of the Interdepartmental Tariff Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers, a new tariff for natural gas was approved, implemented by Uzbekneftegaz JSC and Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC within the republic.
The tariff for 1 thousand cubic meter of natural gas sold by Uzbekneftegaz JSC, taking into account value added tax, is:
for Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC – 320,000 soums;
for Uzbekistan GTL LLC – 23.5312 US dollars;
for UzGasTrade JSC – 450,000 soums.
In addition, the tariff for natural gas sold by Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex LLC for Uzbekistan GTL LLC and UzGasTrade JSC for 1 thousand cubic meter, including value added tax, is 23.5312 US dollars and 450,000 sum accordingly.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Competition”, these new tariffs come into force after 15 days from the date of their official publication, that is, from November 14 of the current year.
The message emphasizes that by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 15, 2023 No. 475 “On additional measures to introduce market mechanisms in the fuel and energy sector,” the introduction of new intra-industry tariffs will not affect final tariffs for end consumers of natural gas and electricity, including the population .
