Saudi Arabia is set to introduce the Nusuk platform in Dhaka on Thursday, aiming at enhancing the convenience for Bangladeshi Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
A Saudi delegation led by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah is visiting Dhaka on Thursday.
The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to advance Saudi Arabia’s initiatives aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience of Bangladeshis during Hajj and Umrah, reports Arab News.
Nusuk is a platform that works as a one-stop gateway to Mecca and Medina, allowing visitors to create their own Umrah itinerary with the variety of services it offers, reports Al Arabiya.
“With Nusuk, travellers from all over the world can easily organize their entire visit, from applying for an E-visa to booking hotels and flights,” Nusuk’s website says.
The website includes various details and information that pilgrims need to make their visit smooth. For example, it offers different options for accommodation, landmarks and holy sites that visitors would want to add to their list.
A Nusuk Roadshow has been organized for the first time in Dhaka, Alhasan Aldabbagh, Nusuk president for Asia Pacific markets, told Arab News on Monday.
Bangladesh is an important market for Saudi Arabia, he added.
