The intensive program of events of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the People’s Republic of China concluded today, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, on August 31 in the city of Tianjin, the President of Uzbekistan, together with his spouse, took part in informal events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit at the Meijiang Convention Center.
On September 1, the leader of Uzbekistan participated in the regular meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State and in the “SCO Plus” format meeting, during which he put forward a number of initiatives aimed at further strengthening multilateral cooperation and improving the organization’s activities.
On September 2, in the city of Beijing, negotiations were held with President of China Xi Jinping with the participation of official delegations. As a result of the meeting, a substantial package of bilateral documents was signed in priority areas of practical cooperation.
A meeting was held with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, during which the leaders discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation.
The Head of our state also held productive meetings with Premier of China Li Qiang, heads of foreign delegations, and representatives of China’s business circles.
On September 3, the President of Uzbekistan took part in the Victory Parade held in Beijing on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Upon completion of the visit’s events, the head of our state departed for Tashkent. At the airport, the high-level guest was seen off by senior Chinese officials.
