The Government resolution approved the Program of measures for socio-economic development and poverty reduction in the city of Kattakurgan, Samarkand region for 2020-2022.
According to the Program, 204 projects are planned to be implemented in the city of Kattakurgan for the purposes of integrated socio-economic development and poverty reduction in the specified years.
In particular, it is planned to implement 117 investment projects for the development of industry, services and agriculture, as well as the creation of 2,052 new jobs.
550 unemployed in the city will be trained in sewing, computer literacy, maintenance of household appliances, hairdressing.
Also, this year 2,253 unemployed in the city will be involved in public works.
The city will create a “Crafts Center” (handicrafts, a complex of national sweets and a hotel).
The resolution also approved measures to reduce poverty in the city.
