The volume of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production in Uzbekistan in 2021 made up 317.8 trillion soums, an increase of 4.0 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.
In the production of agricultural products, the share of dekhkan farms is 66.0 percent (growth by 2.1 percent), farms – 29.3 percent (5.0 percent), organizations engaged in agricultural activities – 4.7 percent (18.0 percent).
At the same time, in the structure of gross agriculture, the share of crop production amounted to 47.5 percent, livestock – 47.7 percent, hunting services, forestry, and fisheries – 4.8 percent.
During the reporting period, 10.86 million tons of vegetables were grown from agricultural products (a growth rate of 4.1%), 7.54 million tons of grain (-1.2%), 3.29 million tons of potatoes (+4.7%), 2.85 million tons of fruits (+1.4%), 2.28 million tons of melons (+6.9) and 1.69 million tons of grapes (+5.5%). Also, 2.64 million tons of meat (+4.8%), 11.28 million tons of milk (+2.8%), 8.05 billion eggs (+3.5%), and 1.26 million karakul skins (+9.7%).
In the volume of production of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, the share of the Samarkand region is high, the share of which in the republican indicator is 13.0 percent. The share of the Andijan region is 10.1 percent, and Bukhara, Kashkadarya, and Tashkent regions – 9.2-9.7 percent. In addition, Fergana region (8.8%), Surkhandarya region (13.0%), Namangan region (7.5%), Khorezm and Jizzakh regions (6.5-6.6%), Navoi region (4, 8%), the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Syrdarya region (3.3-3.9%) have a smaller share compared to other regions.
