Renault is expanding its presence in the CIS countries and begins production and commercial activities in Uzbekistan. The entry to a new market for the brand was organized jointly with the partner of Renault Group in Uzbekistan, Roodell.
“Uzbekistan is a fast-growing market of the Central Asian region, interest in new cars is steadily increasing here. Our presence in the market involves a long-term project of local assembly of Renault vehicles and the development of a dealer network in order to offer our new customers the highest level of service. We are confident that Uzbek customers will appreciate Renault cars, their striking design, modern technologies and a high level of comfort,” said Jan Ptacek, Managing Director of Renault Russia and the CIS.
Renault will present on the Uzbek market models of the SUV segment, which have proven themselves in Russia and the CIS countries and are maximally prepared for road and climatic operating conditions.
The first cars will be available to customers this fall: first, the stylish modern coupe-crossover Renault Arkana and the bright urban crossover Renault Kaptur will go on sale, and a little later – the new generation of the legendary Renault Duster SUV for Russia and the CIS countries.
The development of the Renault dealer network on the territory of Uzbekistan will take place gradually, in accordance with market demands. In the first phase, Renault sales and service will be carried out in two dealerships in the capital of the country, Tashkent.
