The information service of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC published an appeal from the Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company Zufar Narzullaev to industry workers:
It is no secret that today in our country there is a fierce and uncompromising struggle to prevent and combat corruption in various spheres of state and public administration.
The adoption of the law “On Combating Corruption”, as well as the creation of a republican interdepartmental commission on combating corruption and the approval of the state anti-corruption program ensured the effective implementation in our country of a number of measures aimed at preventing corruption offenses.
First of all, these reforms are based on the principle put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev: “We must move from eliminating the consequences of corruption to its early warning,” according to which the priority task is to increase the legal literacy of employees in the fight against corruption.
Corruption cannot be fought only by legal measures; for this it is necessary to form in the minds of all leaders and employees of our Society an attitude of intolerance towards corruption, to teach common sense in this regard.
At the same time, all employees of the company in their activities must:
if they encounter any manifestation of corruption in the activities of the company, immediately report this to management;
strictly comply with the requirements of the current legislation and by-laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and internal documents of the company;
accelerate work on digitalization in all areas.
The head of the company called on all railway workers to take an active part in creating an intolerant attitude towards corruption.
