UzAuto Motors from 20 December 2021 to 1 February 2022 suspends accepting new applications for the sale of Nexia, Spark, Cobalt, Lacetti cars. This was reported by the press service of the company.
During this period, the company will focus all its efforts on the production of pre-ordered vehicles.
This decision was made due to logistical problems, problems in ports and on railway routes (containers are up to 6 months late), as well as interruptions in the supply of semiconductors around the world.
“Despite the round-the-clock production, despite all the efforts of dealers and the dedicated work of the Company’s employees, the queues at car dealerships continue to grow. The UzAuto Motors team in October, November, and December did everything possible to fulfill its contractual obligations, and without any loss in quality. But every time when the Company practically managed to cope with the situation, to produce previously undelivered cars and almost return to normal working rhythm, another failure threw us all back,” the company emphasized.
“In these conditions, the Company has no other choice but to follow the example of a number of other world car manufacturers, temporarily, for the period from 20 December 2021 to 1 February 2022, to suspend the acceptance of new applications for the sale of Nexia, Spark, Cobalt, Lacetti cars and concentrate all their efforts in the production of pre-ordered vehicles. It is for this purpose that the plant will operate during the specified period. It was not easy for us to make this decision, but in the current circumstances, the company considers it its top priority to manufacture machines according to the orders made earlier,” the company notes.
UzAuto Motors has sincerely apologized to potential buyers who are temporarily unable to order a new car.
