Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Oman has reached a new level thanks to the export of traditional Kokand halva. Under the auspices of the Uzbek embassy, online negotiations took place between Abdulatif Kholmatov, director of the Kokand halva factory “Avvali”, and Yasser al-Nabhani, head of the Omani company East Coast Jewels LLC.
As part of the dialogue, the parties considered the possibility of supplying Uzbek halva to the Omani market, while representatives of Oman demonstrated significant interest in this product. As a result of the discussion, the first batch of Uzbek halva was sent to Oman, including 150 kg of sweets, which went on sale in Muscat.
Yasser al-Nabhani expressed confidence that due to high quality and attractive packaging, Uzbek halva will soon become one of the top sellers in the Omani market.
