Tashkent, Uzbekistan — On 15-17 April, the VII International Exhibition of Fur, Leather and Light Industry “Soft Gold of Russia” was held in the city of Pyatigorsk. Representatives of the Uzcharmsanoat association take an active part in the exhibition, as well as in the business program from Uzbekistan.
The International Exhibition of Fur, Leather and Light Industry Products “Soft Gold of Russia” has been held in Pyatigorsk since 2017. This is the largest industry event in Russia and the CIS countries. Hundreds of manufacturers from all over Russia and abroad and thousands of representatives of trade organizations, famous designers and fashion industry experts come to the exhibition.
At the Made in Uzbekistan stand, products from manufacturers from Uzbekistan were presented, including: an enterprise that is part of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, AsianFurs. During the exhibition, domestic entrepreneurs held negotiations with businessmen from different regions of Russia and other countries.
Thus, our representatives of the Uzcharmsanoat association held negotiations with Vladimir Bozov, who is the chairman of fur farms in Russia and such fur industry companies as Semifur, Russian Skin, Lavender, Skifteh, Ecostyle and others, the goal of which is establishing cooperation and attracting leading players in the fur market to participate in the autumn International Exhibition UzCharmExpo-2024 in Uzbekistan.
Regional stores and fur factories in Russia showed great interest in the finished products of astrakhan fur coats presented at the stand of Uzbek manufacturers.
During the business program of the exhibition, the International Conference “Fur and Fur Industry 2024” was held, on the margins of which such topics as issues of international trade relations, the main risks of industry development and ways to solve emerging problems, as well as prospects for the development of the industry in world markets were raised. The moderator of this conference was Sergei Stolbov, President of the Russian Fur Union, the government delegation of the People’s Republic of China took part, and experts from England, Belgium, Finland, the USA and Uzbekistan joined online.
President of the Russian Fur Union Sergey Stolbov visited the stand of Uzbek manufacturers and noted the advantages of Made in Uzbekistan products. Negotiations were held with the famous couturier Sergei Efremov about further cooperation and possible collaboration of the Russian master of fur and leather clothing with our enterprises to create a collection of astrakhan fur.
