The delegation of the Uzbekipaksanot Association visited the city of Dalat, Vietnam, to study the process of growing purebred silkworm grits.
Due to the temperate climate in Dalat, locals grow silkworms up to 10 times a year and get 10,000 tons of wet cocoons.
Agreements are being reached with Vietnamese partners on the import and breeding of the Vietnamese breed of the silkworm in Uzbekistan.
Members of the delegation visited a cocoon processing plant in the “City of Silk Breeders”.
