The Winter World University Games will kick off in Lake Placid, United States on 12 January.
Over 1400 athletes from 44 countries will take part in the games. Uzbekistan delegation includes 13 athletes in skiing, snowboarding and figure skating.
“The mood of the whole team is excellent”, says the head of the delegation, the First Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan Students’ Sport Association Erkin Kadiov. – A group of the organizing committee of the University Games met us at the airport in New York.
Uzbekistan athletes will enter the games on January 13.
