The PFI (Project Finance International) Awards recognized the project of the Emirati company Masdar for the construction of a 500 MW wind farm in the city of Zarafshan, Navoi region, as the deal of the year in Central Asia.
This award is given annually to the best project finance transactions in Europe, the United States, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, receiving this award is universal recognition of the complexity of the investment project and the joint efforts of all its participants in the macroeconomic volatile period.
